I find inspiration in life’s every day confusion and chaos, and although I have a clear understanding of the design trends out there, I tend to steer clear of them. Both because I try and be unique in what I do, and secondly because they are only trends, and will not be as popular 6 months down the line.

I want my designs to be relevant and useful for as long as the client intends to use them. I do have a dark side to some of my designs, and refuse to apologise for that. I experimented by taking a stroll down that avenue in my mind, and I was pleasantly surprised by what I found there. I believe that my dark side, as well as my dark designs (whom I only do as part of personal enrichment) helps me develop my craft, as well as ideas for pleasant designs to be used in the industry, by clients.
